Like my other Uberthons races, they let everyone go in groups of 5-10 people to help ensure everyone has space out on the course. This race was on a golf course with a five foot path so it was especially nice here to have everyone spaced out and not tripping over each other.
What started as a sprinkle gradually turned into a downpour and we were soaked. I was one of the few excited for the rain. Out of all of the races I have participated in, I have never done one in anything more then a few drops at the end and I was excited to be able to experience this.
I am a little disappointed this picture came out blurry, but I still love it. My first race in the rain and race in 2013 and his first race. Hopefully more to come =)
Soaked immediately after the race.
A little drier and less hungry after enjoying the warm tent and potato bar.

Yay! A race! I know how much you like races. How nice not to have to get up early too :) Now I want a baked potato.....
ReplyDeleteThink I'll enjoy just reading about your races rather than actively participating in them. However, that potato bar is rather tempting. Glad you enjoyed yourself.

I read this some time ago, but I guess I didn't comment. It's fun to see you and Evan having fun.
